Freeskiing fans see streaming video over Level 3 network

Freeskiing fans around the world were able to view live coverage of Mountain Sports International’s (MSI) U.S. Freeskiing Nationals thanks to Level 3 Communications’ Content Markets Group. The event is streaming live with Adobe Flash, producing a high-quality live video experience for winter sports fans around the globe.

MSI, which owns and produces a number of freeskiing events including the world tour and the U.S. nationals, develops and produces action and adventure sports events and programming. Using Level 3's streaming services and the Adobe Flash Player, MSI enabled viewers around the world to instantly, easily access the live action of the U.S. Freeskiing Nationals, broadcast online from Snowbird, UT, March 21-22. The event was an interactive media delivery experience, enabling action sports fans to access the live competition instantly, view immediately uploaded highlight clips and even get involved in the commentary through interactive chat boards as the events unfolded.
