Secure digital delivery provider SmartJog will demonstrate its new Content Management automation features and Gateway server at the NAB Show this week. In addition, the global TDF subsidiary will also showcase its entire Content Delivery system.
The company, which provides a fully managed global distribution and file transfer platform, allows content — including 2K trailers, TV spots, EPKs, dubbing elements, broadcast programming, DI, VFX elements and digital dailies — to be repurposed for IPTV and video on-demand. SmartJog’s new ‘Hot Folder’ automation standardizes the process of preparing and sending these forms of digital content. The new products will allow distributors to take master files and automatically process them to match clients’ specifications. Files can be immediately transcoded and sent.
SmartJog will also demo its newly released 3TB Gateway Server, designed to significantly increase the amount of storage capacity of the standard server, which is used for sending and receiving content. This latest incarnation features improved redundancy and faster processing power.
