Mogulus announced a new version of its Internet video platform at the NAB Show that is focused on media companies looking to broadcast live video over the Internet.

Mogulus’ previous offering, launched in November, has already been used by more than 50,000 users to produce live video broadcasts.

The new version, Mogulus Pro, includes a white-label or skinless player, so media companies can add their own branding. And unlike the initial version, it is free of advertising. It also includes analysis features such as audience reports that can be used to sell advertising space. The Mogulus Pro is currently being tested by newspaper publishing company Gannet.

Also at the NAB Show this week, Mogulus introduced a new video-on-demand feature that gives clients a library of content to offer alongside their live linear TV channel. The new feature, integrated in the same embeddable player widget, gives producers the ability to offer on-demand replays of live events immediately after the event without lengthy post-event archive upload.
