At the NAB Show (booth C4911), EVS will introduce IPEdit, a new online editing application that offers real-time editing features. Part of the IPDirector content management suite of applications, IPEdit is designed for production applications that require an extremely short time to air.

The IPDirector is an integrated suite of software used to control audio and video clips stored on the company’s XT[2] servers. Running on a Windows-based workstation, IPDirector allows the user to ingest, log, manage, search, track, edit, create clips and highlights, browse and ultimately playout any video or audio content instantly.

IPDirector contains all the tools necessary to manage media clips across the production chain. This includes control of multiple channels of video and audio; drag-and-drop clip lists; a fully customizable user interface; and instantaneous, fully synchronized playback.

The EVS IPEdit application is part of the IPDirector content management suite of video production applications.

The platform also includes the XNet media sharing network, which brings all the benefits of media management to production and post production with comprehensive metadata tools; accurate, uniform, centralized logging; redundant SQL database; and flexible client/server architecture over TCP/IP.
