DigiSoft.tv (DigiSoft), a global provider of IPTV solutions, and Tech Mahindra (TechM) a supplier of end-to-end IT services and solutions to the telecommunications sector, have jointly released DigiTracker, a technology increasingly being used by parents to keep track of their children.
DigiTracker is specifically designed for global IPTV operators to allow tracking of mobile phones by viewers. This new application will allow TV viewers such as parents to see the current location of their children's mobile phone on their TV screen. It will also allow text or SMS messages to be sent to that phone. For the first time ever, parents will know exactly where their children are at any time.
DigiSoft.tv offers technology — from the headend to the set-top box — that allows operators to develop, test, manage and deploy next-generation interactive TV services. DigiSoft’s scalable solutions help reduce the capital expense required to launch IPTV services.
